Terms of Service

These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of VirtualBooks, a service for converting PDFs into interactive, page-turning "flipbooks" with rich media, analytics and lead capture. By creating an account or using VirtualBooks, you agree to these terms.

You must provide accurate information when registering and are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure. You're responsible for all activity that happens under your account.

• VirtualBooks offers a free plan and several paid subscription tiers, billed monthly or annually.
• Paid subscriptions are processed by PayPal. By subscribing, you authorize recurring charges to your chosen PayPal payment method until you cancel.
• You can cancel your subscription at any time from your dashboard. Cancellation takes effect immediately — we don't currently prorate or refund the unused portion of a billing period, so we recommend cancelling close to your renewal date if you want to avoid being charged again.
• We may change plan pricing or features going forward; we'll give existing subscribers reasonable notice of changes that affect them.

You keep ownership of the PDFs, images, video, audio and other material you upload ("your content"). By uploading it, you grant us a license to host, store, convert and display it as needed to operate the service — including showing it to people you share your flipbook links or embeds with.

You're responsible for making sure you have the rights to everything you upload, and that it doesn't infringe anyone else's rights or break the law.

If you enable a lead capture form on a flipbook, you're responsible for how you use the contact details visitors submit through it — including complying with any consent, marketing, or data-protection rules that apply to you. VirtualBooks simply stores the submission and forwards it to the notification email address you configure.

You agree not to use VirtualBooks to:

• Upload content that is illegal, infringing, defamatory, or that you don't have the rights to distribute.
• Attempt to bypass password protection, embed restrictions, or other access controls on someone else's flipbook.
• Interfere with or disrupt the service, probe it for vulnerabilities, or attempt to access data that isn't yours.
• Use the lead capture or analytics features to collect data on visitors without a lawful basis for doing so.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, or that we reasonably believe pose a security or legal risk to the service or to other users. You can stop using VirtualBooks and close your account at any time by contacting us.

We aim to keep VirtualBooks available and reliable, but we don't guarantee uninterrupted access. We may need to modify, suspend, or discontinue features from time to time.

VirtualBooks is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose.

We may update these terms from time to time. We'll update the "Last updated" date above when we do, and let existing subscribers know about material changes.
